"Sweet"heart shout outs

In honor of Valentine's Day, we asked students which person lifts them up in class and why.

"I’m grateful for the entire choir, they have such a great and uplifting environment in the classroom." - Baleigh B.

"I am most grateful for my friends Abby, Leevy, Max, Izzy, Alex and Baleigh because they make me feel like staying in choir is truly what I want to do. They make it a safe space." - Makayla B.

"I’d say Mrs. Jordan deserves the most credit for the club. She ties everyone together in the community and makes everyone feel welcomed regardless of their background. Everyone in the community is absolutely amazing, but none of it would be possible without Mrs. Jordan herself" -Brooklynn B.

"I’m very grateful for Charles clay and Randi for teaching me everything that I know about music and marching band"

"I am very grateful for my teacher, Mr. Waters.  He has helped me become a great musician and develop my natural talent into something awesome.  He has supported me in everything I do in becoming an awesome musician.  Also, my best friend, Charles Clay, for helping me with the most difficult rhythms in music, and helping me with marching and supporting me my first year and being my first friend". -Caysen Whitfield

"I lm very grateful for my best friend Evan Diedrick! He’s been so kind to me and he’s been there to help me when I need help with music and other things! He’s been a great friend since 4th grade when I oved here. WE LOVE EVAN!!!!"-Charles Clay
